China’s Mobile Robotics Sales Hit RMB 3.87 Billion in New Energy Sector, Taking 14.83% of Total Market in 2025

According to the data from China Mobile Robot Industry Alliance (CMRA) and the statistics of New Strategy Mobile Robot Industry Research Institute (NSRI), mobile robots accounted for 14.83% of the overall market share in the new energy industry (mainly including lithium batteries, photovoltaics, and wind power, etc.) in 2025, with a sales amount of RMB 3.87 billion. Among them, the application in the lithium battery market grew rapidly, while the demand in the photovoltaic industry relatively declined.

The boom from 2020 to 2023 was driven by the expansion of new energy production capacity, which brought industry benefits and made new energy the leading market segment in the AGV/AMR sector;

The adjustments after 2023 were a normal process of industry capacity reduction and returning to rationality, and the fundamental situation of the market remained stable.
