Under the wave of global logistics automation and intelligent manufacturing, unmanned forklifts, as the core category of industrial mobile robots, are gradually becoming a key tool for realizing intelligent transformation and upgrading in warehousing, manufacturing and other fields. In order to accelerate technological innovation breakthroughs, promote the implementation of industry standards, and promote the coordinated development of upstream and downstream of the industrial chain, the “2025 First Global Unmanned Forklift Application Scenario Competition” hosted by the China Mobile Robot Alliance (CMRA) will be officially launched in Hefei, China from May 15 to 16, 2025. At the same time, “the 14th Conference on Intelligent Engineering of Manufacturing Production Line Logistics and Warehousing & the 3rd Global Forklift Mobile Robot Summit” will be held.
The competition takes “scenario-driven innovation, technology empowers the future” as its core concept, focusing on the two core industrial scenarios of shelf/cage stacking and ground pallet handling. Through practical challenges such as high-precision stacking, heavy-load handling, and dynamic obstacle avoidance, it promotes key technical breakthroughs such as precise positioning, intelligent decision-making, and collaborative operation of unmanned forklifts under complex working conditions, providing the industry with innovative and practical solutions to help the sustainable development of the smart logistics ecosystem.
In terms of award setting, this competition is centered on the two major industrial scenarios of shelf/cage stacking and ground pallet handling. It is divided into 4 competition areas, namely, cage stacking competition area, heavy-load stacking competition area, efficient handling competition area, and complex environment handling competition area. Comprehensive and special awards are set to commend contestants with outstanding overall performance, excellent results in multiple challenge links of the two core scenarios, mature technology applications, and strong innovation.
“2025 First Global Unmanned Forklift Application Scenario Competition” is not only a touchstone of technology, but also an accelerator for industry development.
