On September 27, the “Blue Book on the Development of Laser LiDAR Products for Mobile Robots (AGV/AMR)” was officially released at the Sixth International Conference on Integrated Applications of Mobile Robots and Composite Robotics Summit!
The blue book is edited by the CMR Industry Alliance and jointly compiled by major companies such as Shandong Laien Optic Electronic Technology Co., Ltd., Shandong Free Optical Technology Co., Ltd., Shenzhen Litra Technology Co. Ltd., Leuze Sensor Technology (Shenzhen) Co., Ltd., Shanghai Siminics Optoelectronics Technology Co., Ltd., Hangzhou OLE-SYSTEMS Co., Ltd., Beijing Icedrink Technology Co., Ltd., and Shanghai Slamtec Co., Ltd. This blue book is the latest research result from the New Strategy Mobile Robot Industry Research Institute based on statistical data from the CMR Industry Alliance. It includes research and statistics on relevant business data from more than 30 domestic and international laser radar companies specializing in AGV/AMR, along with a comprehensive analysis of the current applications by leading mobile robot manufacturers.
According to statistics from the New Strategy Mobile Robot Industry Research Institute, the sales volume of laser radar products specifically for AGV/AMR in the Chinese market reached about 210,000 units in 2023, with a sales value of around 800 million RMB. Over the past two years, the laser radar market for AGV/AMR has experienced rapid growth, largely due to the fast development of the AGV/AMR industry, especially the accelerated application of AMR with natural navigation systems, which has further increased the demand for laser radar products. As the mobile robot industry continues to grow rapidly, particularly with the increasing autonomy requirements for mobile robots, laser radar is playing an increasingly critical role in enhancing the autonomous navigation and obstacle avoidance capabilities of AGV/AMR, improving both production efficiency and safety. With ongoing technological advancements and market expansion, laser radar will play a more important role in the mobile robot sector, and the AGV/AMR laser radar market will enjoy a broader development outlook.
The “Blue Book on the Development of Laser LiDAR Products for Mobile Robots (AGV/AMR)” aims to provide selection considerations for mobile robot manufacturers, offer references for investors, and guide laser radar manufacturers on development directions, paths, and models.
