According to incomplete statistics, as of November 2024, domestic humanoid robot manufacturing companies have secured over seven rounds of financing, with total funds exceeding 1.03 billion RMB. The investment and financing boom in the humanoid robotics sector continues unabated.
Yuequan Bionics Raises Nearly 100 Million RMB in PreA Financing
On November 5, Beijing Daqi Yuequan Bionics Technology Co., Ltd. (“Yuequan Bionics”) announced the completion of its PreA financing round, raising nearly 100 million RMB. The funds will primarily be used for humanoid robot R&D, enhancing the company’s talent and technical barriers, and accelerating commercialization and delivery.
Founded in 2022, Yuequan Bionics is a developer of generalpurpose bionic humanoid robots, focusing on industrializing highdegreeoffreedom motion systems and core components. The founder, Professor Luquan Ren, is an academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, a professor at Jilin University, and the honorary president of the International Society of Bionic Engineering.
Qianxun Intelligence Completes Angel+ Financing
Embodied intelligence company Qianxun Intelligence recently announced the completion of its Angel+ financing round. The funds will primarily be used for talent acquisition, product iteration, and business expansion.
Li Ping, founder of BaiRui Capital and angel investor of CATL, participated in this round, providing critical support for Qianxun Intelligence’s technology and commercialization in embodied intelligence. This marks Qianxun Intelligence’s third financing round this year, following nearly 200 million RMB raised during its Seed and Angel rounds.
Codroid Secures 130 Million RMB in PreA Financing
Codroid, a subsidiary of Estun, recently announced the completion of its PreA financing round, raising a total of 130 million RMB. The funds will be allocated for product development, market expansion, and team building.Established in July 2022, Codroid boasts expertise in collaborative robot productization and embodied intelligence core components.
Galbot Secures Over 500 Million RMB in Financing
On November 18, Galbot announced the completion of a financing round totaling 500 million RMB. Established in May 2023, Galbot has raised over 1.2 billion RMB within just 18 months.
In June this year, the company raised over 700 million RMB in its Angel round, with strategic investors including Meituan Strategic Investment, BAIC Capital, SenseTime Guoxiang Fund, iFlytek Fund, and financial investors such as Qiming Venture Partners, BlueRun Ventures, Matrix Partners, Source Code Capital, and IDG Capital.
Daimon Robotics Completes Two Consecutive Angel+ Rounds Exceeding 100 Million RMB Each
Daimon Robotics recently announced the completion of two consecutive Angel+ financing rounds, each exceeding 100 million RMB. The funds will focus on the development of optical tactile sensors, dexterous tactile hands, and multimodal perception models with tactile capabilities.
Established in August 2023, Daimon Robotics was cofounded by Professor Yu Wang, founding dean of the Robotics Institute at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, and Dr. Jianghua Duan. The company aims to develop optical tactile sensors to enable robots to sense multidimensional tactile information, including threedimensional force, motion, and slip. Earlier this year, Daimon Robotics launched its first humanoid robot, Sparky 1.
Luming Robot Secures Angel Round Financing
On November 29, Luming Robot Technology (Shenzhen) Co., Ltd. (“Luming Robot”) announced the completion of its Angel round financing.
Founded in September 2024, Luming Robot focuses on embodied intelligent robots for home scenarios, engaging in the development, sales, and software R&D of AIpowered robots. The company emphasizes product definition and comprehensive iteration of hardware and software to deliver highperformance and costeffective solutions.
The company’s first humanoid robot is currently in development. Founder Yu Chao, formerly the head of Dreame Technology’s humanoid robotics division, led the development of Dreame’s quadruped robots and humanoid robots before founding Luming Robot. Several core members of Dreame’s humanoid robotics team have also joined Luming Robot.
