On August 6, VMR launched the V400 point-to-point transport robot, which allows on-site personnel to complete site setup, route adjustments, and task assignments via a visual app; no complex system setup is required, and basic mapping and deployment can be completed in as little as 30 minutes. Furthermore, the V400 uses 3D SLAM for autonomous perception and positioning, eliminating the need to lock the robot onto a fixed track.

On August 11, Gento officially released two new humanoid robot products: the wheeled folding robot Gento Luna and the wheeled lifting robot Gento Skye. The two products employ different body structures and are designed for different tasks, yet they are built on the same technological foundation: full-body force control, omnidirectional mobility, open control, and industrial-grade reliability.
Gento Luna is an omnidirectional wheeled folding robot with 26 degrees of freedom. Its height can be retracted from 1,700mm to 790mm, facilitating transportation and storage. In terms of mobility and endurance, Luna uses a four-wheel drive + four-wheel steering omnidirectional chassis, supports turning on the spot, and has a maximum speed of 1.5m/s. GYRO Released Two New Products
From August 19 to 22, at the Automation Taipei 2026, GYRO showcased two new products for intelligent semiconductor manufacturing. One is the Gyro next-generation dual-arm robot, which primarily demonstrates the automated picking, placing, and handling of 8-inch semiconductor wafer cassettes. Through dual-arm collaboration, it can further expand the application of robots in semiconductor factory equipment loading and unloading and unmanned production.

The other one is the Gyro fully automated unmanned forklift, which is designed for the automated logistics needs of semiconductor factories and is already supplied to the world’s leading semiconductor manufacturers and in practical application.

RoboScience Unveiled Wheeled Humanoid Robot
On August 17, RoboScience officially released the REX G1, a wheeled humanoid general-purpose manipulator, positioned as a “next-generation embodied intelligent productivity partner.” As RoboScience’s first robot, the REX G1 is equipped with its self-developed VLOA architecture general-purpose embodied large model, Visics, designed for logistics, factories, retail, and home scenarios. On August 18, Haosen, together with its subsidiary Shenzhen Haoling Robot, released the Haoling SF10 wheeled humanoid robot.

San Francisco–based Startup Unveiled Humanoid Robot for Household Duties
San Francisco-based startup Nori Robotics recently unveiled the Nori A3, a humanoid robot assembled in the US and priced at $1,688. The robot is scheduled to begin shipping this fall, targeting consumers seeking affordable home automation solutions.
Unlike many humanoid robots, the Nori A3 uses a wheeled chassis and has 19 degrees of freedom. The company claims it can perform a variety of household tasks, including fetching food, pouring drinks, loading the dishwasher, and folding clothes. Its battery provides 6 to 8 hours of runtime, sufficient for extended use in a home environment.

Diligent Robotics Launched Moxi 2.0
Diligent Robotics has also begun deploying its next-generation Moxi 2.0 robot to hospitals across the US in the medical field. Initial deployments include Endeavor Health Edward Hospital in the Chicago area, Providence Saint John’s Health Center in Los Angeles, and Children’s Hospital Los Angeles.
Moxi 2.0 inherits five years of operational experience from over 25 US hospitals and increases onboard computing power by 10 times, with perception and processing speeds 10 to 15 times faster than its predecessor. On August 13, Huibo released its new generation wheel-arm embodied intelligent robot product, Astra Pro2. Based on a native integrated wheel-arm architecture design, Astra Pro2 integrates mobile sensing, motion control, intelligent decision-making, and end-effector capabilities, aiming to provide highly adaptable, highly reliable, and highly scalable intelligent options for various fields such as industrial manufacturing, commercial services, and education and research.
