According to the data of CMR Industry Alliance and the statistics of New Strategy Mobile Robot Industry Research Institute in 2024, the sales scale of China’s mobile robots (AGV/AMR) was 22.1 billion, a year-on-year increase of 4.25%; the sales volume was 139,000 units, a year-on-year increase of 11.2%.

In 2024, the overseas sales scale of Chinese AGV/AMR companies was 6.8 billion, a year-on-year increase of 51.11%. It accounts for 30.80% of the overall market size. Domestic AGV/AMR companies have achieved large-scale landing in Southeast Asia, Europe and the United States with their cost-effective solutions and technical adaptation capabilities.

After nearly a decade of rapid development, Chinese companies have achieved a leap from “introduction and digestion” to “independent innovation” in the field of core technologies, and their technological level has ranked among the best in the world; China’s manufacturing advantages and supply chain advantages make China’s AGV/AMR product prices have a strong competitive advantage in the world; at the same time, the rich scenarios have allowed Chinese AGV/AMR companies to accumulate deep application advantages in continuous polishing; in addition, Chinese companies have actively deployed overseas markets in recent years, which is also one of the factors for the rapid increase in overseas sales.
