ACRs use turnover boxes as their primary handling units, enabling them to pick and handle items at a more granular level.
According to the data from China Mobile Robot (AGV/AMR) Industry Alliance (CMRA) and the statistics of New Strategy Mobile Robot Industry Research Institute (NSRI), approximate 10,500 ACRs were sold globally in 2024, a year-on-year increase of 16.67%. The application of ACRs is primarily concentrated in the warehousing sector, with the majority currently being used in industries such as supply chain, express delivery, and e-commerce.

In 2024, the global ACR market continued its growth trend, and was mainly dominated by Chinese companies; leading companies consolidated their advantages through technological innovation and in-depth development of scenarios. In the long run, the industry will evolve in the direction of “intelligence, service, and ecology”, and companies with technological iteration capabilities and resource integration capabilities are expected to stand out.
