On November 4, the 2026 Embodied Picking and Loading Robot Industry Forum was successfully held at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre, spotlighting Shanghai CeMAT and the embodied logistics robotics ecosystem. The forum was co-hosted by the Mobile Robot Industry Alliance and the Humanoid Robot Scenario Application Alliance, and organized by New Strategy Mobile Robot Media.
Under the theme “Embodied Empowerment, Intelligent Loading and Unloading,” the event brought together upstream and downstream enterprises, technology experts, and industry professionals to discuss technological innovation, solutions, and commercialization of embodied intelligence in logistics picking, loading/unloading, and warehousing.
2026 Embodied Loading and Unloading Robot Industry Forum
Logistics picking and loading/unloading are becoming important breakthrough points for the commercialization of embodied intelligence.
On the one hand, traditional operations have long faced challenges such as high labor intensity, rising labor costs, and complex working environments. On the other hand, with the continuous development of multimodal large models, visual perception, motion control, and robot hardware, robots are evolving from single-task execution toward comprehensive capabilities covering autonomous perception, decision-making, and operation.
However, from technical feasibility to commercial viability, the industry still faces many challenges:
Can picking robots truly reach the critical point of replacing manual labor? How can the “last meter” in complex loading/unloading scenarios be connected? How will wheeled humanoid robots and traditional mobile robots collaborate?
Focusing on these core industry questions, the forum featured one industry report release and seven themed presentations, covering market trends, scenario solutions, core technologies, and engineering deployment, offering the industry a thought-provoking exchange that combined technical depth with industrial value.
Two Reports Released: Insights into Embodied Loading/Unloading and Industrial Mobile Robot Trends
Core content: The forum released the 2026 Embodied Loading/Unloading Robot Market Insights and Industry Trends Report and the Industrial Mobile Robot Intelligence Trends Report.
The two reports systematically reviewed the market landscape, technological evolution, and future trends of embodied loading/unloading robots and intelligent industrial mobile robots, providing references for understanding the development stage, market opportunities, and technology directions of embodied loading/unloading robots.
Jingsong Intelligent: Solving the Labor Shortage at Truck Loading with Smart Unloading — Jingsong’s Breakthrough Unmanned Truck-Loading Solution

Core content: Addressing the loading/unloading challenge—the “last link” of in-plant intelligent logistics—Jingsong Intelligent introduced its wing-opening truck intelligent loading/unloading solution based on dual-fork counterbalance and intelligent truck-loading solutions.
Targeting industry pain points such as diverse truck compartment sizes, top and side obstructions, and difficult scanning and positioning, the solution uses mobile positioning scanning and software-hardware collaboration to achieve efficient loading/unloading in complex scenarios. Related solutions have been implemented in beverage, daily chemical, and other industries.
KNEWBOTS: The Second Half of Embodied Intelligence—From Humanoid Narrative to System Deployment
Photo: Yang Zhenxiang, Product Director of KNEWBOTS
Core content: KNEWBOTS focuses on the deployment of industrial embodied intelligence and directly addresses three major challenges: complex environments, changing business requirements, and high-reliability operation. Relying on orchestration and closed-loop feedback mechanisms, the company follows an engineering design and full-stack service closed-loop approach. It has built an industrial embodied intelligence platform that adapts to multiple robot forms and covers semiconductor, 3C, home appliance, and other scenarios. Through multi-form robots, an intelligent foundation, embodied capabilities, and full-stack services, it creates systematic solutions to support factory intelligence.

Core content: Focusing on the high-performance energy system requirements of embodied intelligent robots, Kaige New Energy released three customized battery cells and battery management solutions, covering wide-temperature-range, high-specific-energy, and high-rate batteries. These products feature wide-temperature operation from −30℃− to 70℃, 5C fast charging, 350Wh/kg high energy density, and high-rate discharge. At the same time, through parallel coordination and energy complementarity among multiple battery packs, the solution improves robots’ continuous operation capability.
ENGOAL: WAM Empowers Embodied Intelligent Loading/Unloading Robots—Scenario Rollout and Precise Operation for Complex Loading/Unloading
Photo: Dr. Jiang, Head of World Model at ENGOAL
Core content: Loading/unloading scenarios are high-quality training grounds for world models, where scenes, goods, and vehicles all involve uncertainty and are difficult to program with fixed rules. Relying on WAM and loading/unloading robots, ENGOAL uses capabilities such as external perception, algorithm generalization, and active sensing of vehicle model and angle to form immediate closed-loop feedback, thereby solving complex loading/unloading operations and exploring commercialization paths for embodied intelligence.
HyperLeap: Breaking Through Warehousing—Cost Reduction and Efficiency Gains of Embodied Intelligence in Picking, Parcel Feeding, and Sorting
Photo: Huo Jianghao, CEO of HyperLeap
Core content: The future of the warehouse sorting industry will move toward general-purpose robots. Traditional fixed automation has high retrofit costs and limited flexibility, making it difficult to adapt to business changes. HyperLeap’s robot sorting solution features low-cost deployment, elastic capacity expansion, and multi-task reuse. It relies on flexible capabilities to reduce warehouse retrofit costs, shorten deployment cycles, and improve business adaptability, unlocking long-term value in warehouse sorting through general-purpose robot solutions.
Pudu Robotics: One Brain, Multiple Forms—Leading Intelligent Logistics
Photo: Zhang Zhongqi, Product Director of Pudu Robotics
Core content: The industry is on the eve of a human-robot collaboration revolution, driven by factors such as labor shortages, high labor costs, and rigid automation solutions. Pudu Robotics defines Physical Agent as a combination of body, system, and skills, and maps the industry direction along the path of mobile internet, AI Agent, and Physical Agent. Its portfolio covers dedicated, humanoid-like, and humanoid robot forms. With its “one brain, multiple forms” model, Pudu Robotics is building a presence in intelligent logistics and promoting the co-development of an industry ecosystem with multi-form robots.
Galaxis: Reflections on Front Deployment Engineering (FDE) for Embodied Intelligence
Photo: Bao Lixin, Deputy General Manager of Technology at Galaxis
Core content: Robot deployment cannot be limited to delivering standalone machines. Relying on its Galaxis Brain physical AI foundation, Galaxis integrates multiple types of software and hardware into a system. The essence is process reengineering rather than mere machine substitution. Taking sorting positions as an example, the task consists of multiple heterogeneous action segments. Direct replacement with humanoid robots would face engineering challenges such as long task chains, complex actions, insufficient data, efficiency, and ROI. Demonstrating skills is only the surface; industrialization must balance deployment speed, efficiency, robustness, and cost, and follow an engineering-oriented path.
From market trends to unmanned truck loading, from system deployment to energy technology, from world models to warehouse picking, and from “one brain, multiple forms” to front deployment engineering, the seven themed presentations at this forum covered multiple key links in the application of embodied intelligence in logistics picking and loading/unloading.
2026 The 9th Annual Conference on Mobile Robot Industry Development and the 4th Annual Conference on Scenario Applicationsof Wheeled Humanoid Robot will be held on December 9–10 at the Parallel World Hotel in Hangzhou.
The conference will focus on industrial embodied intelligence deployment, motion control, chassis technology, manufacturing applications, and data collection and annotation, promoting the industry’s shift from product exploration to deep scenario deployment.
