Recently, SenseTime announced the completion of its placement. The placement price was HK$ 1.5, and 1,666,667,000 shares were placed, generating net proceeds of HK$ 2.5 billion.
SenseTime stated that the net proceeds from this round of fundraising will be primarily used to support the development of its core businesses, including building its AI cloud and continuously expanding the scale and scenario coverage of its large-scale AI infrastructure, support the research and development of generative AI and the development and implementation of derivative products based on its multimodal big model, with a focus on promoting commercial applications in vertical scenarios such as smart hardware, explore the integration and application of AI technology in innovative verticals, including but not limited to developing embodied intelligent robots, blockchain, real-world assets (RWA), digital assets, and stablecoins, and obtain relevant qualifications, independently or in collaboration with strategic partners, and leverage AI big models to expand the application of risk control and settlement in digital finance, and be used for general working capital of the company. Recently, at the WAIC 2025 Big Model Forum, SenseTime officially launched the “Wuneng” embodied intelligence platform. From the Enlightened World Model to Clear Intelligence and Enlightened Intelligence, the platform aims to create a powerful “training ground” for embodied intelligence, enabling it to freely explore and grow in the real world.
Leveraging the long-term development of various technologies, including SenseFoundry, SenseCore, and SenseNova, SenseTime’s “Wuneng” embodied intelligence platform utilizes its “Enlightened World Model” as its core engine and leverages the powerful device-side and cloud-side computing power of SenseTime’s large-scale devices. This platform empowers robots and smart devices with powerful perception, visual navigation, and multimodal interaction capabilities, driving the evolution of smart terminals towards a higher level of autonomy and intelligence.
