The world’s first AGV with a payload capacity exceeding 600 metric tons went into service. The groundbreaking event took place in a high-end equipment manufacturing center in Jiuquan, a medium-sized city that boasts to be one of China’s satellite-launching centers.
The heavy-duty AGV is shown in photo below. It was designed and manufactured by Longyu, a Chinese robotics firm specialzing in heavy-load AGVs.
