According to public filings, PaXini submitted its IPO counseling registration application to the Beijing Securities Regulatory Bureau on September 20, 2026. Guotai Haitong Securities has been appointed as the company’s counseling institution.
Founded in 2021, PaXini develops tactile sensing technologies, robotic hands and humanoid robot-related products. The company focuses on improving robots’ ability to perceive and interact with objects through touch, a capability considered critical for robots performing complex manipulation tasks.
From Tactile Sensors to Robotic Hands
PaXini’s core technology is centered on tactile sensing. The company develops multi-dimensional force and tactile sensors that enable robots to detect contact, pressure and physical interactions during operation.
Based on these sensing technologies, PaXini has developed a range of robotic products, including tactile sensors, dexterous robotic hands and humanoid robot systems.
PaXini’s product portfolio covers key components and systems for tactile-enabled robotics, including multi-dimensional tactile sensors, force/torque sensors, dexterous robotic hands, humanoid robots and embodied intelligence data collection devices. Its product lineup includes tactile sensing modules, the DexH series tactile dexterous hands, humanoid robot platforms such as TORA-ONE and TORA-DOUBLE ONE, as well as data collection equipment including robotic gloves and end-effectors for robot learning applications.

The company’s robotic hands combine sensing, control and mechanical design technologies, targeting applications such as industrial automation, intelligent manufacturing and service robotics, where robots need to handle objects with greater precision and flexibility.
Expanding into Humanoid Robotics
In recent years, PaXini has expanded its focus from individual robotic components to broader humanoid robotics applications.
The company has been developing integrated solutions combining tactile perception, robotic manipulation and artificial intelligence technologies. Its goal is to provide robots with improved physical interaction capabilities, allowing them to perform tasks in more complex environments.
As humanoid robots attract increasing attention globally, tactile sensing has become an important area of development. While cameras and other sensors provide robots with visual information, tactile sensors help robots understand physical contact and manipulate objects more accurately.
Backed by Industrial and Technology Investors
PaXini has completed multiple rounds of financing since its establishment.
The company has attracted investment from industrial and technology-focused investors, including BYD, JD.com, TCL Ventures and other institutional investors.
Public reports indicate that PaXini has raised more than RMB 4 billion in total financing, with its valuation exceeding RMB 10 billion.
The funding has been used to support research and development, production capacity expansion and commercialization of tactile sensing and robotic technologies.
Robotics Research Background
PaXini was founded by a team with backgrounds in robotics research and technology commercialization.
Founder and CEO Xu Jincheng received his Ph.D. from Waseda University in Japan, where he conducted research related to robotics and sensing technologies. The company’s early technical team originated from the Waseda robotics research community.
The company has also maintained connections with researchers in the humanoid robotics field, including Professor Shigeki Sugano from Waseda University, who has contributed to robotics and automation research for decades.
IPO Move Comes Amid Growing Humanoid Robot Development
PaXini’s IPO preparation comes at a time when companies worldwide are investing in humanoid robots and embodied AI technologies.
As the robotics industry moves beyond traditional automation toward robots capable of operating in less structured environments, sensing technologies such as tactile perception are becoming increasingly important.
With its focus on tactile sensing and robotic manipulation, PaXini is positioning itself as a full-stack technology provider and core ecosystem builder within the humanoid robot industry chain.
