According to data from CMRA and incomplete statistics from the New Strategy Mobile Robot Industry Research Institute, AGV/AMR companies worldwide launched 20 products in Q3 2025, marking a significant drop from the previous two quarters. Most firms have slowed their new product launches, focusing resources on refining core products and implementing practical applications.

However, it is noteworthy that new products in Q3, both in terms of functional definition and scenario matching, show strong targeting and maturity. Enterprises are no longer in a hurry to ‘pile up quantity’, but are focusing on ‘doing the right scenario’.

(Compiled from public information. If there are any omissions, please make a correction!)
The new products in Q3 clearly emphasize collaboration, perception, and deployment efficiency, which runs through the product’s functionality, scenarios, and technology.
In terms of functional form, unmanned forklift products dominate, followed by composite products, and the form of composite products tends to be upper body humanoid robot + mobile chassis.
The functional form has been complemented by increasingly focused scenarios, with narrow aisle solutions and lightweight innovations emerging. Notably, products targeting narrow aisle have evolved into “dual-side fork” configurations. This “micro-focusing” strategy isn’t isolated, but a natural extension of functional form implementation. It indicates companies are proactively optimizing product boundaries, transitioning from general-purpose designs to application-oriented solutions.
To meet the requirements and functional specifications outlined in the aforementioned scenarios, the new product series demonstrates distinct navigation approach characteristics. Most models primarily utilize “integrated navigation” systems that combine multiple technologies such as LiDAR, 3D cameras, and SLAM laser navigation. This technical integration isn’t arbitrary selection but rather a precise adaptation to the precision and adaptability demands of scenarios like narrow aisle and lightweight applications. The combination significantly enhances navigation accuracy, flexibility, and adaptability while maintaining operational efficiency.
In more specific application fields, new products focusing on warehousing and logistics scenarios dominate, while new products for the cold chain industry also emerge. This is not only a concrete embodiment of application-oriented orientation, but also echoes the scenario focus and functional forms mentioned earlier, making the product implementation scenarios more clear.
On the whole, whether it is the optimization of functions and scenarios or the upgrade of navigation technology, it reflects that domestic and foreign manufacturers still maintain a high innovation density, which provides an overall guarantee for the core advantages of new products in Q3.
