On May 7, 2025, Hangzhou Lanxin Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “Lanxin Robotics”) officially announced the completion of C+ round of financing led by Kunpeng Fund, with a financing amount of hundreds of millions of yuan.
Currently, Lanxin Robotics’s products include 3D vision sensors, mobile robots, humanoid robots, core components of mobile robots, intelligent software systems, etc. This round of financing will focus on deepening the research and development of 3D vision sensors, tackling the AI technology of humanoid robots, and upgrading the global supply chain and service system.
Equip robots with “smart eyes”
Lanxin Robotics is the pioneer and leading brand of 3D visual perception mobile robots in China. According to public information, the company was established in 2016. The core members of the team come from the Chinese Academy of Sciences, Fudan University, Zhejiang University and well-known robot companies. The team’s R&D strength can be described as “strong”, especially in the creation of key technologies for mobile robots. Lanxin Robotics is the first robot company in China to develop 3D visual perception technology for mobile robots and achieve large-scale applications.
While most industrial mobile robot manufacturers are caught in the red ocean of homogeneous competition, Lanxin Robotics uses 3D visual perception technology to break the “dominant world” pattern of LiDAR in the field of mobile robots. This technology is used to equip mobile robots with “smart eyes”, significantly improving the robot’s visual perception ability of the three-dimensional environment, helping Lanxin Robotics stand out in the fierce market competition. Looking closely at Lanxin Robotics’s technological advancement, the results are really impressive:
In 2022, Lanxin Robotics was listed on the list of Hangzhou quasi-unicorn companies;
In 2023, the independently developed “Research and Industrialization of 3D Vision Sensors with High Resolution and Large Imaging Range” (that is, Lanxin Robotics’s core technology mobile robot deep vision system LX-MRDVS®) was selected into Zhejiang Province’s “Pioneer” and “Leading Goose” R&D and key research plans;
In 2024, the SMT loading and unloading robot based on the deep vision system was identified as the first equipment in Zhejiang Province; the company was identified as a national-level specialized and new “little giant” enterprise, and in August of the same year, it launched the world’s first “pure vision” humanoid robot VersaBot.
3D visual perception technology is regarded as the “golden key” to open the era of robot intelligence. Whether it is a humanoid robot, a quadruped robot, or other bionic robots, only with environmental perception capabilities can they truly adapt to complex scenarios and serve humans, and their business prospects are immeasurable.

“One body and two wings” strategy drives high growth
Based on its own technological advantages, Lanxin Robotics has formulated a “one body and two wings” development strategy and built a unique internal industrial ecology: MRDVS → VMR → Lanxin Robotics System MRS.
“One body” – Lanxin Robotics System MRS. With 3D visual perception mobile robots as the main carrier, it integrates multiple types of automated production equipment to provide “machine replacement” solutions for industry customers in the manufacturing industry.
“Two wings” – MRDVS and VMR. MRDVS focuses on the research and development of 3D visual sensors, providing mobile robots with 3D vision + AI algorithm software and hardware integrated solutions. VMR integrates the 3D vision + AI algorithm of MRDVS, develops 3D visual perception mobile robots including humanoid robots, core control modules, robot cluster scheduling systems and other software and hardware products, and provides intelligent mobile robot products for integrators, terminal enterprises, research institutions, and colleges and universities.
Thanks to this strategy, Lanxin Robotics’s performance continues to grow rapidly, with a compound growth rate of revenue exceeding 80% from 2019 to 2024.

In-depth layout of the industry and future prospects
At present, the global manufacturing industry is accelerating its transformation towards digitalization and intelligence, and replacing humans with machines is an inevitable trend of industrial upgrading; the demand for humanoid robots in the fields of medical care, family, elderly care, office, etc. is becoming increasingly urgent. Robots with visual perception capabilities will become the key infrastructure of the future intelligent society.
Gao Yong, founder and CEO of Lanxin Robotics, said, “We reject ‘assembly innovation’ and insist on independent research and development of the entire chain from underlying sensors to system algorithms. This round of financing will also ensure the leading generation of technology and create a more agile robot supply chain network. We hope to use the power of the capital market to accelerate corporate technological innovation and industrial layout, and promote the in-depth application of 3D visual perception mobile robots and humanoid robots in the field of intelligent manufacturing, as well as the expanded application in the fields of medical care, family, elderly care, and office.”
In order to accelerate the industrial layout of 3D visual perception robots, Lanxin Robotics has not only increased its investment in the research and development of the company’s core technology and humanoid robots, but also the construction of the supply chain is in full swing. The latest developments show that Lanxin Robotics has built a second operation center and manufacturing base in Gui’an New District. With two major intelligent manufacturing bases in Huzhou and Gui’an New District, the continuous strengthening of the supply chain capabilities of Lanxin Robotics will provide customers with more efficient and stable product and service support.
It is reported that Lanxin Robotics has put IPO on its agenda, and it is expected to become the “first stock of 3D visual perception robots” in China in the future, which is worth looking forward to.
