Project Background:
The Port of Singapore project is a flagship overseas deployment of SIASUN’s port mobile robots, jointly developed with PSA Corporation, a global leading port operator. Serving one of the world’s largest automated container terminals, the project adopts SIASUN’s independently developed heavy-duty port mobile robots and intelligent stacking equipment to fully replace traditional manual operations and diesel-powered equipment, thereby building a green, efficient, and intelligent end-to-end transport system.
Under Singapore’s “Smart Port” strategy, this project plays a key role in the global port automation upgrade plan. It not only meets the fast turnover requirements of high-density container yards but also sets a new benchmark for intelligent port operations worldwide.
Key Product Advantages:
At the core of this project is SIASUN’s heavy-duty port mobile robot, with a rated load capacity of 65 tons. It supports transport for 20’/40’/45′ containers and is fully adaptable to the complex, all-weather outdoor environments of port operations, significantly improving container transfer efficiency.
In addition, the project is the first to deploy the world’s first intelligent empty container stacking robot (AECH), which features automated stacking, high-altitude positioning, intelligent spreader control, and remote dispatch management. It breaks through the automation bottleneck of empty container yards, setting a new technological benchmark in green, low-carbon, and unmanned port operations.
Strategic Value:
The application of SIASUN’s port mobile robots in the Port of Singapore project marks the full participation of China’s high-end intelligent equipment in major international infrastructure projects. With over 100 units deployed and operating stably in PSA’s core terminal area, the project provides solid support for building a globally leading automated port system.
Mr. Kuok Rui Long, Regional President of PSA Southeast Asia, commented, “SIASUN is a trusted strategic partner. Their intelligent transport and stacking solutions have enabled us to achieve more efficient, smarter, and greener port operations.”
Mr. Zhang Jin, President of SIASUN, stated, “This collaboration is not only a key milestone in SIASUN’s globalization strategy, but also a significant breakthrough in applying China’s industrial intelligence to high-end international scenarios.”
The successful implementation of this project has not only advanced port automation across Southeast Asia, but also provided a “SIASUN model” for global green port development—demonstrating the determined stride of Chinese manufacturing toward high-end intelligent transformation.
