On December 13th, at the “2023 China Mobile Robot (AGV/AMR) Industry Development Annual Conference” hosted by the Mobile Robot Industry Alliance, the “Autonomous Navigation Mobile Robot (AMR) Industry Development Blue Book (2023 Edition)” will be grandly released. This Blue Book is edited by the CMR Industry Alliance and jointly compiled by companies including Siasun Robot, Zhejiang Zhongli, Fairland Technology, Zhongqiang Optoelectronics, ZTE, Mairui Robot, Tianjin Langyu, Lei Shen Intelligent, Meyer Microvision, and Stäubli.

The “Autonomous Navigation Mobile Robot (AMR) Industry Development Blue Book (2023 Edition)” represents the latest research outcome from the New Strategy Mobile Robot Industry Research Institute, based on statistical data from the CMR Industry Alliance. The Blue Book surveys and compiles data from over 120 domestic and international mobile robot companies and nearly 100 supply chain companies, providing a comprehensive analysis of the current state of AMR technology and applications in China.
According to the CMR Industry Alliance data, the New Strategy Mobile Robot Industry Research Institute reports that in 2023, approximately 49,000 AMRs were sold in China, marking a 60.13% year-on-year growth. In recent years, the share of AMR products has been steadily increasing, and in 2023, AMRs surpassed QR code navigation products to become the largest sub-category in the mobile robot sector. The alliance predicts that within the next two years, AMR robots will account for more than 50% of the industrial mobile robot market, truly achieving intelligent mobile robot applications.
The application range of AMRs is continuously expanding, thanks to the maturation of technology and the persistent efforts of industry participants in market expansion. However, it is important to note that the application of AMRs is significantly influenced by the economic conditions of downstream industries.
