According to statistics from China Mobile Robot Industry Alliance (CMRA) and New Strategy Mobile Robot Industry Research Institute (NSRI), the sales volume of composite robots in H1 2025 exceeded 1,500 units, with sales amount approaching 1 billion yuan.

In terms of sales distribution, in the first half of 2025, approximately 70% of sales orders for Chinese composite robot companies came from the domestic market, indicating that the industry is transitioning from “technology verification” to “scaled application in various scenarios.” About 30% came from overseas markets, with the core reason for the overseas market’s preference for Chinese composite robots being the triple advantages of “scenario adaptability + cost competitiveness + rapid response capability.”

Currently, the application of composite robots is concentrated in technology-intensive (semiconductor, 3C electronics) scenarios. In the first half of 2025, the semiconductor industry accounted for more than half of the total, making it the core application area for composite robots. This was followed by the 3C electronics manufacturing industry, accounting for approximately 13%; and the medical/life sciences industry accounted for 5%. The demand for composite robots in other industries has not yet fully expanded, and the application scale is small. For example, the new energy industry, scientific research and education, automotive and parts, and warehousing and logistics industries each account for less than 5%.

In the first three quarters of 2025, over 55 new products were launched. The market shows a trend of “new forms targeting new scenarios, and classic forms consolidating mature markets.”

From the perspective of end-user demand, the top three performance enhancement requirements for future composite robots from enterprises are intelligent sensing, flexible navigation, ease of use, and rapid deployment. These three requirements directly address the core pain points of current robots in actual operations.

Based on multiple data sources, the embodied intelligent composite robot market is showing a good development trend. Its market size is expected to exceed 10 billion yuan by 2030, and the proportion of overseas orders will continue to increase.
