In March 2026, the “PSA & Siasun First Batch IGV Delivery Ceremony” was grandly held at Tuas Port, Singapore.

Nearly 200 Siasun IGVs were deployed at Tuas Port, Singapore
Philbert Chua, Managing Director at PSA, Goh Kim Teo, Vice President (Tuas Engineering), Tan Yaoqiang, Vice President (Assistant Tuas Engineering), Wu Hongzheng, Vice President, Operations Department 2, Liu Changyong, President of Qingdao Siasun, Zhao Chen, CEO of Siasun Singapore, Liao Jirong, Sales Director, and many other representatives from both sides attended and witnessed this milestone moment.

PSA & Siasun First Batch IGV Delivery Ceremony” Grandly Held at Tuas Port, Singapore
At the event, Philbert Chua, Managing Director at PSA, solemnly held up the red ribbon symbolizing innovation and cooperation, and cut the ribbon for the first batch of IGV deliveries in the presence of representatives from both sides. Following this, Mr. Philbert Chua, together with Liu Changyong, President of Qingdao Siasun, and Zhao Chen, CEO of Siasun Singapore, jointly held up an exquisite IGV model. This miniature intelligent carrier embodies the essence of technological innovation and industrial collaboration, and symbolizes the firm commitment of both parties to jointly promote the intelligent transformation of ports.

1. From Prototype Development to Large-Scale Deployment of Nearly 200 Units:A Nine-Year Journey of Deep Trust
PSA is a world-leading container terminal operator with an extensive global shipping network and highly automated, information-based terminal facilities connecting numerous important ports.

Since 2017, Siasun has embarked on a collaborative journey with PSA, developing a prototype port mobile robot, laying the foundation for mutual technological trust between the two parties.
In this strategically focused “long-distance race,” the cooperation between the two parties has continued to deepen. In 2023, Siasun completed its first large-scale delivery of IGVs to PSA, opening a new chapter in industrialization cooperation.
By 2024, Siasun had delivered over 100 mobile robots, becoming the largest mobile robot supplier to the Port of Singapore.
Currently, Siasun has deployed nearly 200 mobile robots at Tuas Port in Singapore, achieving exponential growth in just one year. This signifies PSA’s renewed confidence in Siasun, solidifying its position as the largest mobile robot supplier to the Port of Singapore. This deployment of nearly 200 units is not only strong evidence of the deep recognition of China’s high-end intelligent logistics equipment in international benchmark ports, but also a significant success in the business cooperation between the two parties, jointly creating the “Asia-Pacific speed” for continuous upgrading of port logistics!
2. “Flexible Giant” Intelligent Evolution: The Best Choice to Solve the Efficiency Bottleneck of Large Ports
With ultra-large container ships becoming the mainstream of maritime transport, the loading and unloading efficiency of traditional ports is increasingly becoming a “blood clot” in the global logistics chain. At the same time, ports worldwide are generally facing the triple challenges of “labor shortages,” “cost pressures,” and “efficiency barriers,” continuously troubling major hub ports globally.

Siasun has become the largest mobile robot supplier for Tuas Port in Singapore
Siasun port IGVs are “flexible giants” perfectly suited to meet these challenges. These robots, with a rated payload of up to 65 tons, achieve a balance between high load capacity and high precision: positioning accuracy of ±5 cm, maximum operating speed of 7 m/s, and braking distance of less than 13 meters. Its excellent adaptability allows it to carry 2×20-foot containers, 2×20-foot tank containers, 40-foot containers, and 45-foot containers in a single trip, fully meeting the diverse operational needs of the port and providing customers with great convenience and flexibility.
The newly delivered port IGVs are completely upgraded products of Siasun port IGVs. Building upon the advanced structure and technology of its existing IGVs, the Siasun team has deeply integrated artificial intelligence into the overall hardware and software architecture of the IGV, achieving significant improvements in navigation methods, scene adaptability, and intelligence. The IGV achieves autonomous navigation through multi-sensor fusion technology, without relying on fixed markers, with flexible and variable path planning, and can be dynamically scheduled according to real-time production needs. Leveraging multimodal fusion perception and high-order path planning algorithms, combined with machine learning technology, the intelligent system achieves significant enhancements in robustness, flexibility, and overall operational efficiency under complex dynamic environments and harsh working conditions.

Furthermore, the new generation IGV integrates an intelligent fault diagnosis and predictive maintenance system. By continuously collecting equipment operation data and utilizing deep learning algorithms for pattern recognition and anomaly detection, combined with domain-wide models, it accurately predicts fault risks, achieving a leap from “real-time monitoring” to “proactive early warning” in operation and maintenance, greatly improving equipment reliability and overall operational efficiency.
3. Looking to the Future: Deepening Global Cooperation and Expanding Application Boundaries
PSA and Siasun will take this delivery ceremony as a higher starting point to further deepen their cooperative relationship, jointly explore more possibilities for smart port construction, combine mature robot technology solutions with the advanced management needs of international ports, and create a new industry benchmark. At the same time, the successful cooperation between Siasun and PSA has become another model of international cooperation in the high-tech field under the “Belt and Road” initiative.

PSA and Siasun will use this delivery ceremony as a starting point to further deepen their cooperation and jointly explore more possibilities for smart port construction
Looking to the future, the application scenarios of outdoor heavy-duty mobile robot technology, represented by Siasun port IGVs, extend far beyond seaports. Automated transfer of standardized goods can be carried out on outdoor roads in various industrial parks, inland port areas, and large logistics hubs, presenting huge market demand and development potential. Siasun will continue to promote technological iteration and scenario adaptation, committed to injecting stronger momentum into the efficient, intelligent, and green development of the global logistics system!
