Today, Shanghai Kusa Technology Co., Ltd., a provider of urban service robots (hereinafter referred to as “Kusa Tech”), announces the completion of a Pre-A+ round of financing worth tens of millions of yuan, which will be used for new product research and development, market expansion, and promoting the large-scale application of robots. This round of financing was led by GSR Ventures and Lingang Sinan Yuanke Private Equity Fund, with existing investor Jinshui Lake Venture Capital continuing to increase its investment.
This is the second round of financing that Kusa Tech has completed within just two months after its Pre-A round in June 2025, fully demonstrating the high recognition of the capital market for its technological strength and commercial prospects.
Founded in June 2023, Kusa Tech focuses on the field of urban service robots, with the environmental sanitation scenario as its first commercial direction. As the fastest enterprise in the industry in terms of product development and commercialization, Kusa Tech’s self-developed unmanned cleaning robot is based on the embodied robot technology architecture, integrating a multimodal perception system centered on AI vision. Relying on the vehicle-grade product development process and vehicle-grade supply chain system, it has achieved centimeter-level edge-following operation accuracy in open scenarios and possesses high stability and consistency. The company’s intelligent cloud control platform realizes efficient collaboration of robot clusters through large model technology. The innovative model of combining the cloud platform with robots has helped customers reduce operating costs by 50%. Currently, Kusa Tech’s robot products have been deployed in nearly 30 cities at home and abroad, with an operation efficiency twice the industry average.
